The Ballroom Dance Practice session will start 1/2 hour earlier: Thursdays, 4:30-6:30 PM. The extra 1/2 hour at the beginning will be spent on learning a few new steps. The instruction will be done either by viewing a video, or by a class participant demonstration. The instruction will be followed by 30 minutes of music related to the "lesson". The final hour will consist of music of varied ballroom dance genres.
With this new schedule, persons who are not interested in instruction can skip the first 30-60 minutes. But the TV and DVD player will still be made available for anyone who wished to view the particular video lesson. And, of course, anyone may leave early if 2 hours is too long.
Please let us know if there is any particular dance genre or step sequence you are interested in learning. Also let us know if there is some particular area that you would like to demonstrate and teach to the other participants.NEXT page
